What sets us apart
Versatile designs
Choose from a range of colours, patterns and layouts to create a driveway that complements your property's existing style.
Durable surface
Quality block paving provides a hardwearing surface designed to withstand regular vehicle use and changing Scottish weather conditions.
Neat finish
Careful installation and precise edging help create a clean, structured driveway that enhances the overall appearance of your property.
Designed to complement your home
Block paving gives you considerably more design flexibility than many other driveway surfaces. Herringbone patterns can provide a strong, structured appearance, while contrasting borders, colours and feature detailing can define the shape of your driveway. Whether your property has a traditional or contemporary character, the right combination can create an entrance that feels considered and individual.

Built on proper preparation
A quality finish starts beneath the blocks. Ground conditions, drainage, driveway levels and the required sub-base all need to be considered before installation begins. Once the foundation has been prepared, the paving can be laid accurately and the joints properly filled and compacted. This approach helps create a stable, even surface designed for regular residential use.
How much does a block paving driveway cost?
The cost of a block paving driveway will depend on the size and layout of the area, your choice of paving blocks and the preparation needed to create a strong, long-lasting base. Borders, patterns, drainage and other design features can also influence the overall price.
With over 25 years’ experience in paving and landscaping, Edinburgh Paving Solutions can assess your property, discuss the different options available and provide a free estimate tailored to your project. We focus on quality workmanship while keeping our prices competitive.

How we install block paving that stays flat
A block paved driveway is only as good as the preparation underneath it. We carefully prepare and level the ground before creating a strong, compacted sub-base designed to provide a stable foundation for your paving. The laying area is then prepared to the correct levels and falls, with each block positioned carefully to achieve an even finish. Once laid, the paving is compacted and the joints are filled to help lock the blocks securely in place. Particular attention is given to edging and drainage, helping reduce movement, sinking and uneven areas while creating a smart, long-lasting driveway.

David Godon
Very happy with the work that John and the team did for us. The job included rebuilding a wall, replacing the patio, re-laying turf, and a redesign of the garden area. They took on board our ideas and made some really good suggestions based on that. They were also willing to change things during the work when we asked for a slight alteration to the design, wasn’t a problem to them at all. The quality of the work carried out is excellent as well. Really pleased with it all.
