Our core service outline
Garden transformation
Refresh worn or uneven outdoor areas with a new lawn surface designed to make better use of your available garden space.
Low-maintenance option
Artificial grass can provide a consistently green appearance without the regular mowing and upkeep associated with natural lawns.
Fresh turfing
Natural turf provides an instant lawn transformation, creating a fresh green surface that can complement your garden and property.
Turn underused garden areas into useful spaces
A tired or uneven lawn can make an outdoor area feel neglected, while a fresh surface can entirely change its appearance. Artificial grass and natural turf provide different ways to create an attractive lawn suited to your needs. From family gardens to smaller outdoor areas, the right option can make your space more enjoyable and easier to use.

Choose a lawn solution that fits your lifestyle
Different households have different expectations from their gardens. Artificial grass can provide a consistent green appearance with less routine maintenance, while natural turf offers the traditional feel of a living lawn. We can help you consider the available space, intended use and preferred appearance when selecting a suitable solution for your outdoor area.
How much does artificial grass and turfing cost?
The cost of a new lawn depends on the size of your garden, your choice between artificial grass and natural turf, and the amount of ground preparation required. Uneven ground, poor drainage, removal of an existing lawn and restricted access can all influence the overall price.
We assess each garden individually and provide a quotation based on the work required, helping you choose a practical option that suits your property and budget.

What factors affect the cost?
Size of the lawn – larger areas require more materials and installation time
Existing ground conditions – uneven or poorly drained areas may need additional preparation
Artificial grass or turf – material and installation requirements differ between the two options
Ground preparation – excavation, levelling and preparation required before installation
Edging and landscaping – paving, borders and other finishing details can be incorporated
Why Choose Edinburgh Paving Solutions?
Both options can completely transform the appearance of a garden. Artificial grass provides a consistently green surface with minimal ongoing maintenance, making it particularly useful for busy households and areas where maintaining natural grass can be difficult. Natural turf provides the appearance and feel of a traditional lawn and is ideal for homeowners who prefer real grass and don't mind the regular mowing and maintenance it requires. We can help you choose the most suitable option based on how you use your garden, its conditions and the amount of maintenance you want.

How we install artificial grass
A quality artificial lawn starts underneath the surface. We prepare and level the area before creating a suitable foundation for the artificial grass. Attention is given to levels, drainage and edging before the grass is carefully positioned, joined and secured. The surface is then finished and checked to create a neat, natural-looking lawn designed for regular garden use.

How we lay natural turf
We begin by preparing the existing ground, removing unwanted vegetation where necessary and creating a level surface ready for the new lawn. The soil is prepared before fresh turf is carefully laid with tight, staggered joints. Once installed, the lawn is finished and initial care guidance can be provided to help the turf establish successfully.
David Godon
Very happy with the work that John and the team did for us. The job included rebuilding a wall, replacing the patio, re-laying turf, and a redesign of the garden area. They took on board our ideas and made some really good suggestions based on that. They were also willing to change things during the work when we asked for a slight alteration to the design, wasn’t a problem to them at all. The quality of the work carried out is excellent as well. Really pleased with it all.
